Soldering Assembler

Location: Fremont, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

We are looking for a skilled Soldering Assembler to support the production of high-quality electrical cables, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on soldering experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings and work instructions.

What You'll Do

  • Perform soldering, crimping, wire stripping, cable preparation, and connector termination.
  • Assemble electrical cables, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and repair assembly defects when necessary.
  • Maintain production documentation and records.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of soldering, cable assembly, wire harness assembly, electronics assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.
  • Frequent use of hands for soldering, crimping, and handling small components.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Strong close vision and ability to identify wire colors and small components.
